Questions
How long does a report stay current, and does it renew?
From the day you unlock a center, its report stays live and updates free for one year. About a week before that, we'll email you; renewing keeps it current for another year and costs less than the first report. Any PDF you've downloaded is yours to keep no matter what.
Can I get reports for several centers at once?
Yes — that's the volume pricing. Add the centers you're weighing to your cart (the 🛒 at the top) and unlock a report for each in one purchase: 3 for $20, 5 for $30, and $5 for every report beyond five. You pick them all at checkout, so there's nothing to track and no credits to remember later. The compare page is for lining centers up side by side before you decide.
What exactly is the Safety Analysis?
It's what we build on top of the free record: a plain read of what the inspection history means, a real peer ranking against other nearby centers, the multi-year trend, repeat-pattern detection, a cross-agency check that joins DOHMH inspections, state licensing, and building, lead-paint, rodent and complaint records to the exact building, and a tour checklist built from that center's record.
What stays free?
Every government record: search, the map, the full inspection history, side-by-side compare, and change alerts. Public safety records should be public, so we won't ever put them behind a paywall.
Do you offer refunds?
A report is delivered instantly and is downloadable, so sales are final once it's delivered. If something is wrong with yours, like the wrong center or a page that won't load, email us and we'll make it right.
How do I pay, and what about my data?
By card through Stripe, which handles the payment. We don't store your card, we don't run ads, and we don't sell leads to daycares or your personal information to anyone.
