HEART 2 HEART CHILDCARE INC. is child care in the provider's own home. New York State licenses this kind of home (“group family day care”) for up to 12 children plus 4 school-age children; an assistant must be on hand once more than eight children are present. State inspectors check it, not the city Health Department. The state's file shows 3 inspection visits, most recently Aug 27, 2026, with no uncorrected violations on file. Per the state's record, this provider had violations in the last 3 years, all shown as fixed in the record. Its license or registration runs through Sep 26, 2029 in the state registry. Everything we publish for this record is free.

Inspection history
Every state inspection visit on record for this home, newest first, from New York State's public file. We show the record as it stands and don't grade it.
How to read this record
- New York State inspects home programs at least once a year unannounced, when the license or registration comes up for renewal, and after complaints. Every visit is listed with its date and result.
- Violations found means inspectors cited one or more rule violations on that visit. Each one lists the rule, what it requires, and whether the record shows it corrected (fixed) or still uncorrected.
- The state doesn't publish severity rankings the way the city does for daycare centers. Read the description itself, and ask the provider about anything that worries you.
- To double-check anything or request the fuller file, open the official state record or get a pre-filled records-request letter, using the buttons under the inspection list. More in our methodology.
Official rule text — what the state requires: The written medical statement from the health care provider must also state whether the child is a child with special health care needs and, if so, what special provisions, if any, will be necessary in order for the child to participate in child day care. When the written statement from the health care provider advises the day care program that the child being enrolled is a child with special health care needs, the day care program must work together with the parent and the child's health care provider to develop a reasonable health care plan for the child while the child is in the child care program. The health care plan for the child must also address how the day care program will obtain or develop any additional competencies that the caregivers will need to have in order to carry out the health care plan for the child.

The state's wording counts child-rearing as experience. The citation concerns that qualification, and the public record does not say which person it applied to.
Worth asking: What childcare experience and training does each caregiver have?
Official rule text — what the state requires: The provider, assistant(s), and substitutes must each meet the following qualifications: provide to the Office the names, addresses and daytime telephone numbers of at least two acceptable references, other than relatives. At least one of the references must be able to attest to the employment history, work record and qualifications, if the person had ever been employed outside the home. What this means
Records The provider, assistants and substitutes must give the state the names, addresses and daytime phone numbers of at least two acceptable references who are not relatives.
